Seven days is ideal, especially for holidays and end-of-school season when dates fill up. That said, don’t count yourself out if your event is sooner — see the next question.

Often, yes! We regularly take last-minute and rush orders, and we’ve done same-day. If another baker fell through or a date sneaked up on you, reach out anyway — tell us your date and what you need, and we’ll do our best to come through. (A rush order may carry a small rush fee, quoted up front.)

A half dozen cookies (six). Sets can be all the same design or a mix — your call.

Cookies range from $45 to $75 per dozen depending on design complexity, color count, and detail work. We'll quote a firm price when we reply to your inquiry.

Our cookies contain wheat, eggs, butter, and milk. The kitchen also handles tree nuts. We're not able to guarantee an allergen-free product and we don't recommend our cookies for anyone with severe allergies.

Yes — we ship anywhere in the United States (domestic only, no international). Each cookie is individually heat-sealed, so it stays fresh about two weeks and travels well any distance — cushioned in a sturdy box and sent with tracking, most orders arrive in a few days.

Shipping is a flat rate by order size: ½–1 dozen — $12; 2–3 dozen — $16; 4 dozen or more — Free. Orders of 4+ dozen ship free. Every shipped order includes a free hand-written note card, and if anything arrives damaged, send a photo within 48 hours and we'll make it right.

We're based in Plumas Lake, CA, so if you're nearby, pickup (free) and local delivery (small fee, based on distance) are still the easiest options.

Absolutely — shipping is a lovely way to send cookies as a gift anywhere in the U.S. Just give us the recipient's name and address and what you'd like the free note card to say, and we'll ship it to them directly. Perfect for birthdays, new babies, thank-yous, get-wells, and “thinking of you.”

A 25% deposit reserves our time for your order. The remainder is due at pickup or delivery. If shipping, full payment is due prior to parcel drop off — tracking will be provided. Payment details come in our reply to your inquiry.

We can take inspiration from designs you love, but we won't directly reproduce another decorator's work. Send us your inspiration photos and we'll come up with something that captures the vibe in our own style.

Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. They stay fresh for about two weeks. Don't refrigerate — the icing can lose its shine.
